Domestic Waste Removal in Wavendon

Wavendon had 2,343 residents at the 2021 census and sits in the south-east of the Milton Keynes urban area — a short, easy run from our Bletchley base.

It is an ancient settlement, recorded in the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle as far back as 969, its name Old English for Wafa's hill. But most of what we clear here is very new: two large estates at Eagle Farm and Glebe Farm on the eastern edge, part of the Eastern Expansion Area.

That gives an unusually wide split. New-build estate housing is among the easiest work we do — driveways, wide doorways, room to turn — while the old village core means narrow lanes and limited parking. Saying which you are in changes how we plan the visit more than the distance does.

Magna Park, the large distribution centre north of the A421, brings commercial and unit clearance work alongside household jobs; those need a named site contact and usually a booked slot. The Stables, founded by John Dankworth and Cleo Laine in 1970 in their old stables building, now runs over 350 concerts a year, so local traffic peaks on performance nights.
